The first thing clients ask me when they’re interested in booking a branding/lifestyle session is "What’s the best place around Atlanta to have a photoshoot?!" So I’m rounding up all my favorite photoshoot locations near Atlanta for all the Georgia content creators and business owners!
I’ve organized this list into a few categories so you can better choose a location based on the aesthetic you’re looking for. Since I’m a natural light photographer, some of my clients and I have loved taking photos in nature (sometimes with waterfalls!), and other clients love urban settings.
Make sure you take into consideration the distance between your home and the location of your photoshoot. Some of the places I listed here are in the metro Atlanta area and others are located outside of the city. Luckily there are a variety of branding photo locations around the area so you should be able to find something that suits your vision!
With that being said, let’s go over the list below:
1) Summerhill
Located in Downtown Atlanta, this area is perfect for those wanting a space with lots of variety. There's so many different color schemes and murals here that can blend with most brand colors!

2) Prevail Coffee Atl
If you're looking for a location with an inside and outside option, this Prevail Coffee would be perfect! Just as an FYI, it's attached to an apartment building and has street parking for about $2 an hour.

3) East Pole Coffee
If you're looking for a coffee shop with good natural light coming into the windows, this is a great option. They also have a bleacher-style seating area in the lobby with even more space for photos.

4) Avalon Shopping Plaza
With various textures, colors and space, The Avalon is a good option for those wanting outdoor lifestyle photos! Free parking is offered in a covered lot.

5) Millennium Gate Museum
Millennium Gate Museum gives the perfect aesthetic for those going for a regal vibe. You can find street parking, park at the Target on 18th Street or park at Atlantic Station.

6) Madison Yards/Daily Dose Coffee
Daily Dose Coffee has great natural lighting coming into their windows (perfect for flashless photos!) and is also surrounded by a shopping plaza with good spots to utilize.

7) The Works ATL
This Upper Westside location is similar to Ponce City Market- it has a large food hall along with different activities and beautiful picturesque spots! Parking is free and there is currently no permit needed to shoot here.

8) Westside Provisions District
Westside Provisions is a really popular spot for photoshoots because of the bridge and all the brick buildings and rustic spaces. There are lots of stairs, railings, and outdoor tables that we can use to create some cute poses!

9) Ponce City Market
If you didn’t know, Ponce City Market used to be an old Sears building! But it was completely renovated and has so much to offer from small apartments to shopping and dining.

10) Peters St SW
Peters St SW is a residential and commercial area located in Castleberry Hill. Along this street are various murals and textured walls that make the perfect background for photos!

11) Riverview Landing/Chattahoochee Coffee Company
Located at an apartment complex in the Mableton-Smyrna area, this is the perfect location if you want something a little more secluded. There's also beautiful view of the Chattahoochee River.

12) Atlantic Station
Atlantic Station is another upscale residential and commercial area with an open-air mall and plenty of places to take pictures. Since parking is below the establishment, be sure to factor that time in when scheduling your session! Parking is free for the first 2 hours.

13) Atlanta Beltline
The beltline has a lot to offer because it’s several miles long. There is artwork, graffiti, brick buildings, a skateboard park, and other things we can use as backdrops. I think some of the best spots are near Ponce City Market and the section that passes through Inman Park.
Address: The Beltline has many different entrances- two options are parking at Ponce City Market and walking up to the 2nd floor or parking at Historic Fourth Ward Skate Park.
14) Colony Square
Located in Midtown, this fairly new location is one of the best multi-purpose establishments in Atlanta. There's a market with different cuisines, restaurants, a movie theatre and of course, plenty of cool spots for a photo shoot! Their $25 photography permit can be purchased on the premises. 2 hour parking is also complimentary with any purchase.

15) Federal Reserve Bank
With its sleek and modern architecture, along with it's beautiful greenery and skyline views, this unique location works wonders for those wanting different scenery options in one spot.
